Well its been a couple of months now since we received our little man, so I thought I would send some pictures. Bogey is doing great! He has been such a joy in our lives and a great puppy. He loves to play, loves walks, cuddling and most of all bug hunting and chewing up his dad's plants!! (i have to watch him outside because he loves to chase anything that moves!) Outside a few accidents every now and then he potty trained very quickly. We attended puppy class and he did very well. The first couple of classes he was intimidated by some of the bigger dogs but he soon warmed up to them and now plays with all of them. He enjoys going over to his grandpa's house to play with their Boston and 2 poodles. Anyway, i thought i would share and thanks again for the BEST dog ever!

Chase is always a favorite past-time.
While active at play, a Boston Terrier should never be hyper. Also, be aware that Boston Terriers are sensitive to extreme temperatures. It takes less than an hour in 85 degree plus, weather, for a BT to get heat exhaustion and die. A very painful lesson for a new BT owner.

Bostons also love the snow but be careful that they don't over do play at these temperatures. Conversely, a boston is not to be left outside in below 60 degree weather for extended periods of time. They lack the undercoat

Owning a Boston is a wonderful adventure. Their human-like qualities and friendly demeanors make for a Great-All-Around dog.
Bostons are very adaptable. However, be very cautious of extreme temperatures. They over-heat quite easily. Summer necessities include: Small kiddie pools, lots of fresh, clean water, shade and pet misters for those wonderful mid-day naps.
