** Ask to see a "REAL TIME" or updated photo of pup or dog in question to prove that the individual actually has dog in his/her possession
This is a photo of the dog, with your name, date, and time on a sign held next to the dog (not imbedded in the photo by computer generation) .
** Ask to see the Dam and the Sire of the litter, regardless of whether both are on site. Good working partnerships will allow for the sharing of individual photos
** Note: A dog is only CH pedigree if the champions are listed in the first (3) generations Sire, Dam or either of the Grandparents or Great-Grandparents
** A dog is only CH Sired/Dam if the father or mother hold the title.

"New!" "Standard Coat Color Genetics in Dogs"
by JP Yousha
Note: Although this contains information expressly meant for Great Danes,
the information can be used for many mantles (saddle expressive dogs) throughout the canine world.
This is why we don't breed splash-marked bostons.

"New!" "Canine Coat Color, Inheritance & Appearance"
by Bonnie Dalzell
Note: Although this contains information expressly meant for Borzois,
the author does an exemplary job of explaining the correlation between of 1/2 to FULL white heads and neural crest development.
**It is widely known that all mammals develop bilaterally.
This means that early in development the neural tube forms.
From here, the tissue developement works around each side developing the rib cage and fusing in the front.
In addition, the fusion completes from bottom to top (ending on top of the head - i. e. soft spots of newborns)
This line becomes apparent in pregnant females as a line down the tummy.
If one was to hypothesize that the development was incomplete,
Like celft palate and cleft lip, the color genes failed to complete their genetic instructions (lack of color where it should be)
and it may be safe to assume that the right side of the brain which control hearing is not attached to the left ear and/or vice versa.
This is why we don't breed 1/2/ or Full white heads.
