We are often asked these questions,

Is there a difference between male and female pups?

To tell you the truth, I really don't think there is a difference in male vs female boston.

But, with their human qualities, BT's are inadvertly customized for each person.  What I mean is, that the way to pick a BT that fits you is, to meet and interact with sire and dam and the whole litter. I have found that my first impression or instinct is really the best judge of which puppy suits me.

I think the real questions should be...

  • What am I/we looking for in a dog?
  • Why am I/we interested in a Boston Terrier?
  • What have I/we heard about the breed?
  • How active is my household? ( We are 'A' type personality or We are couch potatos)
  • Are my/our expectations unrealistic?
  • Lastly, am I/we really trully ready for a dog? Is this an impulse buy?

Spaying and neutering make for a very androgenous dog anyway.
